From ‘That Takes the Cake’ – tickets for a screening of ‘Kings of Pastry‘. A documentary where Pastry Chef Jacquy Pfeiffer tries for the MOF designation.

Two different tickets for the same event, $75.00 for VIP tickets and $50.00 for regular dinner theater tickets. After the show there will be a short Q&A from the Jacquy Pfeiffer himself.

Cake Decorating Extravaganza & Classs- ABE 2010

ABE 2010, March 21-23, 2010. Atlantic City, NJ.

This year for the Atlanta Bakery Expo, they will be having a ‘Cake Decorating Extravaganza’ with hands-on classes and a contest for tiered cakes, novelty cakes and sculptured cakes.

Their ‘hands-on’ classes have such teachers as Mike Terry (buttercream figurines), Ronald & Marsha Winbeckler (sculptured cake & airbrushing), Ashley Vicos (tiered & scultptured cakes), Dan ‘Klecko’ McGleno (mother dough formulation), Linda Shonk (fondant techniques), Ron Ben-Isreal (cake decorating techniques & sugar paste flowers), Lynn Schurman (wedding cake contracts), and many more classes. For a listing of all the classes, visit their classes page with descriptions and any additional cost for the class.
